My professional experience enables me to support clients with any of the following issues: struggling with everyday life demands, ongoing relationship difficulties, feeling unappreciated, negative and/or obsessive thinking, anger issues, low self-esteem, loneliness, trauma, deliberate self-harming behaviours, personality difficulties, addictive behaviours, overwhelming work challenges, and struggling to find purpose in life or have meaningful life goals.
My aim as a psychotherapist is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic space within which you can explore such issues. The goal is to develop together a new narrative that can help you understand barriers to managing life’s challenges, make healthier life choices, and become more authentic in your relationships.
My role as a couple therapist is to support both partners in exploring recurring relationship patterns that may have a negative effect on their communication, intimacy, conflict resolution and life goals. Themes explored in therapy may relate to disconnection, isolation, conflict, lack of intimacy and lack of direction as a couple. The aim is to support both partners find new channels of communication, become more aware of each other's needs, enjoy time together, and develop mutually fulfilling life goals.
When you initially contact me, I will answer any questions you may have about therapy and briefly inform you about how I work.
Then we can book an initial appointment to explore what may bring you to therapy and discuss specific issues in more detail. At the end of the initial meeting, I will offer you feedback about what you have shared with me, and together we can think of possible options of therapeutic support and what the next step may be.
My practice is based on an integrative clinical model drawing key references from Analytic Psychotherapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transpersonal and Mentalisation-Based Therapy.
I offer face-to-face sessions in South East London and Putney, and online sessions in English and Greek.
